Glencoe Mountain Cottages and Covid-19

Given the unprecedented situation regarding Covid-19, we wanted to up-date you on how we are working to keep Glencoe Mountain Cottages clean and safe for you.

We are following official guidance from both the Scottish and UK government and health authorities. The well being of our guests is our number one priority and we will continue to ensure that our actions reflect the most up to date advice that is available to us.

Hygiene

We are already rated as 5 stars for cleanliness by Visit Scotland and we remain committed to maintaining and further strengthening our hygiene and cleanliness practices to take account of the risk of Covid-19. For every changeover this includes but is not limited to:

Steam clean all cottage appliances and surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living room, etc., with recommended cleaning products.

Steam cleaning and disinfecting all contact points including door handles, cupboard handles, lamp and light switches, all taps, kitchen/ cooker dials, towel rail, heater switches etc.

All crockery, pots, pans, kitchen utensils and cutlery will be disher washed at every changeover to make sure it is clean and virus free.

A full version of the cleaning protocols adopted can be viewed here

In addition, hand sanitiser and cleaning products are supplied for use during your stay.

Social distancing

Glencoe Mountain Cottages is in a secluded location, both cottages are fully self-contained and there are plenty of hill walks that can be accessed right from the doorstep.

Neither of us is in a high-risk category for Covid-19. We enjoy meeting guests but following official Covid-19 advice and to minimise unnecessary human to human contact we will keep a safe distance (recommended 2 meters) from all guests.

Glencoe and Loch Leven Visitor Charter

To ensure the safety of local communities and businesses and to guide visitors during this time of Covid-19, a visitor charter has been developed and can be viewed here
