About Glencoe
Glencoe is a mystical place and the nearby National Trust Visitors
Centre explains the history of this unique area. Just a short walk from
our holiday cottages will bring you to the site of MacIain’s summer
shieling. All that is left now are the foundations but this is where
the Chief of the MacDonald’s of Glencoe is said to have met his death
in the infamous Massacre of 1692.
If you are looking for a
Highland holiday cottage in a special location- you won't find anywhere
much more special than here...
